Hospitality Consulting

Sari Ehrenreich evaluates hotel properties with the goal of attracting more family guests. She creates pop up activity and game rooms for seasonal vacationers and special family events, like reunions or weddings. She could be hired on a consulting basis to provide recommendations, or to execute a design concept with programming and training for the support staff. She is well versed multiculturally and can cater to any traditions. Most importantly, she creates new income streams.

Sari’s concept can be monetized directly and indirectly. Game kits can be a point of sale inside the family play club and child friendly menus can be offered. Once you have captured the imagination of children, families are electing to spend more time on the property thus maximizing the existing profit centers of restaurants, spas & gift shops.

Sari showcased at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows in Santa Monica, CA, a proof of concept of “Sari’s Family Clubhouse” model. It was offered to their International and domestic family travelers, as well as local residents on a day pass. Staged with whimsical and classic furnishings, games, activities, entertainment, and fun inspirational programming. From the moment guests entered into the space they were greeted by well trained hosts that welcomed them into a transformative experience for the entire family.

  • “I have watched Sari Ehrenreich turn her entire interior design focus towards the family as she has designed my two Orthodontic offices, where I cater to children and adults.

In Beverly Hills I had a sprawling penthouse office with many private operative rooms. Sari designed an entry that was comfortable and welcoming. In each of the rooms, she created a cheerful color palette with whimsical art, which always engendered fun conversation with my patients.

Three years ago I relocated my practice to an existing children’s dentist practice to better serve my clients. This was an exciting business move for my practice, but I brought Sari in to work her magic in a space that lacked character, and had no windows or natural light. The multi-purpose entry space needed to be a waiting room by day, and a meeting & classroom by night. She built modular units on wheels for complete flexibility. Sari’s creative California and movie western theme both entertains and comforts my patients of all ages.

I highly recommend Sari; she is a wizard of sorts who can solve all design aspirations you can dream up.”

  • “I am proud to tell you that, in the years of my hospitality career, I have never seen guests so dazzled, entertained and delighted by the magic that was created for our guests once they crossed the thresholds of our bungalows into the world of wonder and magic that Sari Ehrenreich created. There they found relaxing, exquisite decor that she staged, filled with activities and programs for them to enjoy together as families, both inside that space and continuing to the gardens of our property.”

  • “As a designer of high-end hospitality properties, one of my assignments for most projects is to provide the design for a “kid’s Club” environment. This is a very loosely defined enterprise for many hotel operators and managers. As designers we are usually left to fend for ourselves to create the programming for these spaces—even some sophisticated operators do not have adequate specialists on staff to plan and implement thorough programming to ensure environments that truly provide rewarding experiences for young guests at their properties.
My firm, Darrell Schmitt Design Associates,Inc. has worked on properties large and small, with operators of international reputation, such as Four Seasons Hotels, Peninsula Group,Auberge Resorts, Montage Hotels, and Resorts, and The Resort at Pelican Hill. We find that the demand for facilities to enrich the stay of children, and also of their parents has been on the rise. However, we as designers are not specialists in the programming required to provide such facilities: we rely, all too often, on input from otherwise qualified hospitality staff who also are not specialists in such programming.
Until now,I could say that I did not know anyone to have adopted this kind of specialty,
let alone an interior designer. But recently the work of Sari Ehrenreich, who stands alone in this field of study, has been brought to my attention, and I am delighted to recommend Sari as a very legitimate and established interior designer who has made a study of environments that are not only  positive places for children but for entire families. Sari’s work goes far beyond the idea of “decorating” a space for children’s or family activities; she has incorporated a great deal of serious study in programming healthful and constructive environments wherein design provides an integrated expression for a solid structure of life-enhancing activity bringing entire families together.
I consider Sari’s work to be important in the evolution of children’s and family facilities in hospitality properties of all types, and I heartily recommend her for your consideration.”
