I loved hearing all about my father’s brave World War II adventures in the air force.
Once returned, he set out on the American dream,and started his career and family.
As a child he shared with me many lessons on how to treat all people with respect, and
how to create lasting friendship and business relationships. He also showed me the way to all the cultural arts.

Papa Moe, an immigrant from Lithuania was self educated and taught me how to navigate a successful life. He was an internationally renowned Polo player pictured, here in a Chrysler ad, while refereeing a Polo match.
Our best chats were on horseback in the hills of Griffith Park. The lessons from our horses are my family’s legacy to me.

My niece Julia Newmann Westheimer, an award winning film and television composer on her first trip to Africa adopted a couple orphaned elephants. Now she supports the www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org and composed the soundtracks for their informative documentaries on the plight of the elephants, being poached for their ivory.
